Job summary

Dialog Café in West Hollywood is seeking a friendly Busser to join our Front of House team. The role supports the dining experience by maintaining a clean, organized dining area, resetting tables promptly, and assisting with service needs during busy periods.

The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced café environment. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with pay at $20.87/hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Strong understanding of hospitality and guest service standards.

Dialog Café WeHo is looking for Bussers to join our team. We’re seeking individuals who share our core values, have a genuine passion for hospitality, are team-oriented, and can remain composed, hardworking, and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The Busser plays an important role in supporting the FOH team and creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for every guest. This position works closely with Management, Hosts, Cashiers, and other FOH team members to maintain smooth service, efficient table turnover, and an exceptional guest experience.

Employment Type: Part-Time & Full Time
Shift Availability: 6:45 AM – 9:15 PM
Pay Rate: $20.87/hour + tips

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area throughout service.
• Greet and acknowledge guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently, especially during high-volume periods.
• Collect and return dishes, utensils, and service items to the appropriate areas.
• Run food, beverages, and to-go orders when needed.
• Assist Hosts with seating and maintaining smooth guest flow.
• Monitor the dining area and communicate guest needs, table status, and concerns to Management and the FOH team.
• Assist guests with basic requests and direct questions to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain clean and organized bussing stations, service areas, and dining spaces.
• Restock dining room and FOH supplies, including utensils, napkins, and other service items.
• Keep floors, tables, chairs, counters, and other guest-facing areas clean and presentable.
• Clean and maintain guest bathrooms throughout the shift, including restocking supplies and addressing cleanliness needs.
• Sweep and spot-clean floors and empty trash and recycling as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing side work and complete assigned checklists.
• Take initiative to identify areas that need attention and assist without waiting to be asked.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong sense of teamwork.
• Assist Management and the FOH team with additional service needs as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
