Job summary

The Big Biscuit in Wichita is hiring for a breakfast-focused team member. You will clear and reset tables, run food, restock supplies, and keep dining areas clean to ensure fast, friendly service. This part-time role requires weekend and holiday shifts with a daytime schedule.

Expect a team-oriented kitchen and dining room, with emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and customer interaction. Tip-based earning complements base pay.

Our ideal candidate is committed to providing Guests with an excellent service experience, able to demonstrate responsibility, reliability, pride in their work, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.

Enjoy a daytime schedule; our hours of business are from 6:30 am -2:30 pm.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently to support seating flow
• Assist servers by running food, refilling beverages, and delivering condiments or extra items.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors, chairs, booths, windows, and service stations.
• Restock silverware, napkins, bus tubs, and other service items throughout the shift.
• Transport full bus tubs to the dish area and assist with sorting dishes as needed.
• Monitor and maintain clean, stocked restrooms and guest areas.
• Support hosts during peak times by helping manage table availability.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests when needed.
• Communicate clearly with servers, hosts, and managers to keep service running smoothly.

Physical & Lifting Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (typically 4-8 hours)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds regularly (bus tubs, trays, stacks of plates, cleaning supplies)
• Frequent bending, reaching, wiping, and moving through a busy dining room.
• Ability to safely navigate tight spaces while carrying items.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant movement.

Pay rate: $5.00 per hour PLUS tips
