Job summary

GMBG1 OC, LLC in invites a friendly Busser (Food Services) to support our dining room during peak hours. You will clean tables, reset seating, remove dishes, and assist hosts and service staff to keep the dining area efficient.

This role emphasizes teamwork and attention to cleanliness, with opportunities to learn food and beverage flow. You must be able to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow safety procedures. We offer on-site shifts in Texas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean up spilled food or drink and remove trash.
• Wipe tables and seats; reset dining tables.
• Scrape and transport dirty dishes to kitchen.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms and restrooms.
• Serve beverages and water; maintain dining area.
• Set up and arrange tables as needed.
• Coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain bussing stations and expo area.
• Follow the cleaning calendar and safety rules.

Busser (Food Services)

General Purpose of the Job: Facilitate food service. Clean tables, remove dirty dishes, set tables; replenish supply of clean silverware, glassware, and dishes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Fill beverage or ice dispensers.
• Ensure cleanliness of the dining rooms and other areas.
• Ensure cleanliness of dinnerware.
• Serve beverages, water and other drinks.
• Set up dining tables as requested.
• Stack and un-stack chairs and put tables in order.
• Set up and maintain the Expo area and bussing stations.
• Follow the cleaning calendar.
• Clean the restrooms and ensure they are maintained and stocked. Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness during peak hours.
• Clean the back dock area and keep it organized.
• Clean and maintain the chemical area and keep it organized.
• Interact and coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure effective service.
• Maintain best practices in maintaining cleanliness in bussing services.
