Position: Busser

The busser will be responsible for clearing, sanitizing, and setting tables. They will also assist other team members by cleaning floors, supporting dishwashers, and maintaining all surfaces in the front of the house. Additionally, the busser will support serving and hosting staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand all steps of service and dining room procedures.
2. Remove all dishes from tables after guests depart.
3. Clean, sanitize, and reset tables.
4. Clean all chairs, booths, and floor areas around tables between guest uses.
5. Transport dishware and glassware to the dish area and place in respective spots.
6. Notify the host to open and clean tables.
7. Assist servers throughout the shift as needed.
8. Maintain service stations during the shift.
9. Have knowledge of the food and drinks served.
10. Perform duties in a timely and effective manner.
11. Dispose of trash properly.
12. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
13. Maintain a professional, fun, and friendly attitude.
14. Uphold performance standards and motivate the team through positive role modeling.
15. Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management.

Qualifications:

• This position requires standing 100% of the time.
• Adhere to the restaurant's uniform policy at all times.
• Be able to report to work as scheduled.
• Occasional exposure to cold, heat, water, and loud noise.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Reaching, bending, stooping, and wiping are required.
