Job summary

Cowlitz Indian Tribe is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to support the dining team and ensure a seamless guest experience in a casino restaurant setting.

This role assists with bussing, running food, and line coordination with the expeditor, while upholding sanitation and safety standards and maintaining knowledge of all menu offerings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED accepted.
• Valid Food Handler’s card (onsite certification provided).
• Must be able to stand and move quickly for an 8-10-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment on the casino floor.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Set up and maintain the expedition side of the line.
• Set up and maintain server station drink receptacles including filling ice.
• Maintain stock of all NA beverage and paper goods.
• Bring up requisitions from the cage and warehouse and put items away to ensure organization.
• Take direction from servers and bartenders to assist in table maintenance.
• Communicate between the kitchen and the service staff to ensure quality and accuracy of orders.
• Know restaurant seat table and seat numbers no matter the configuration of tables.
• Clear, reset, and arrange tables as required.
• Ensure all sanitation and food safety practices are being followed by the FOH including but not limited to refreshing sanitizer buckets and practicing proper cleaning methods.
• Possess intimate knowledge off all food offerings to ensure consistency in product.
• Run food following proper service methods.
• Prepare left-over food for takeout as needed.
• Complete side duties as required including, but not limited to, polishing silverware, restaurant set up, and filling of condiments.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
