Job description

Join to apply for the Busser role at Muldoon's Irish Pub.

We are looking for a motivated Busser to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, setting tables, and servicing items to guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain safety and sanitation requirements as per the Health Department and restaurant standards.
2. Clear tables of plates, glassware, silverware, linens, and trash.
3. Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths.
4. Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.
5. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
6. Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service.
7. Communicate with guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
8. Complete opening and closing side work and ensure efficiency during the shift.
9. Assist the service and kitchen staff when requested.

Qualifications:

1. Must have or be able to obtain a CA Food Handlers Certificate.
2. Ability to transport a service tray balanced with beverages, water, glassware, and plates of various sizes and shapes.
3. Previous knowledge of food service, safety, and sanitation regulations as per Health Department.
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy; ability to lift overhead.
6. Able to walk and/or stand for extended periods.
7. Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
