Job description

Overview
  • Maintaining a clean restaurant by bussing tables, sweeping and picking up trash from surrounding areas and bushes.
  • Lending additional support to the server and bartending team by restocking stations and providing refills or beverages to tables when necessary.
  • Providing an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the company vision statement
Responsibilities
  • Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
  • Set up bar and bar area according to Nelsons standards
  • Pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs
  • Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • Set up heat lamps or umbrellas per a guests request
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off heaters and fire pits, etc.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests` service needs
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
  • Perform related duties as required
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
  • Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Company policy
  • Be courteous to all guests and coworkers

Experience, Education, & Licensure:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Food Handler’s Card required

Compensation

Base Pay Start Rate: $16.50/Hr.
