Job description

Naperville Country Club, located in Naperville, IL, is pleased to announce a part‑time Busser position. This role supports a fast‑paced hospitality environment under Troon’s global leadership in golf and community management.

Compensation

$12–$14 per hour plus tips.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
• Knows the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for food delivery.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with its corresponding ticket to run food to tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item meets the exact specifications outlined on each ticket.
• Corrects menu items with the chef before delivery if they do not meet specifications.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.
• Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of each course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including: changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, repositioning chairs, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
• Assists the server when needed.
• Keeps workstations well stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• One month of related experience or training.
