Job summary

Little Mama's Italian Kitchen in Cornelius is seeking a Busser to maintain a clean dining area and support servers in a fast-paced setting. The role offers $15–16 per hour plus tips, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

You'll clear and reset tables, assist with service, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth guest experience. Previous busser experience is preferred but not required; strong teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.
• Guest Interaction: Providing friendly service and responding to guest requests.

Busser Daily Responsibilities:

Table Maintenance:

• Clearing and resetting tables promptly and efficiently.
• Ensuring all tabletop items, including flatware, glassware, and napkins, are clean and properly arranged.

Assistance to Servers:

• Supporting servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread, and assisting with any other tasks as needed.
• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to facilitate smooth service.

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

• Sweeping and mopping floors in the dining area.
• Wiping down surfaces and ensuring cleanliness in common areas.
• Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles regularly.

Guest Interaction:

• Providing friendly and attentive service to guests when needed.
• Responding promptly to guest requests and communicating effectively with the front-of-house team.

Team Collaboration:

• Working closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.
• Communicating effectively with team members to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.

We Are Looking for a Busser Who:

• Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
