Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. in California is seeking a polite and dependable Busser to support our dining team with first-class service and hospitality.

You will clear and reset tables, assist teammates during busy shifts, and help maintain clean dining areas while following company standards and guest care. This part-time, hourly role requires weekend availability and a willingness to learn cross-training across restaurant positions.

Qualifications

• High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus.
• The ideal candidate will have 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with Guests. Respond to questions and know where to find information.
• Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins).
• Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to minimize breakage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors).
• Proactively assist other team members during down time or as requested by manager.
• Notify management of comments, suggestions or complaints from Guests.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must

COMPENSATION

$16.90 Per Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSSER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

PHYSICAL

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
