Job summary

Pacific Catch is hiring a Busser in a part-time, hourly role. You will engage with Guests, set tables with complete place settings, and maintain dining area cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, and a team player who can handle busy periods. Weekend availability is a must, and cross-training in other positions may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Hospitality or related degree is a plus.
• 1+ year experience in a Busser role preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with prompt, friendly service interactions.
• Set, clear and reset tables with complete place settings.
• Handle and care for restaurant equipment to avoid breakage.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas at all times.
• Assist other team members during down times as needed.
• Report guest comments or complaints to management.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must

COMPENSATION

$16.90 Per Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSSER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ability to engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with Guests. Respond to questions-know where to find information if unknown to you
• Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins), and as needed
• Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors) at all times
• During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager
• Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any Guests

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
• The ideal candidate will have 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position, but it is not required

PHYSICAL

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
