Job summary

Haidilao Hot Pot in Arcadia, CA is seeking a friendly Busser to support servers and keep dining areas clean and welcoming. Responsibilities

• Ensure Guests' food and drink is delivered to the correct table.
• Check finished products for plate presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver food promptly.
• Assist the server to ensure guests are served immediately.
• Clean and reset tables efficiently before, during and after service to turn tables.
• Remove trash as needed.
• Work as a team to support guests and colleagues.

A Busser helps play an important part in providing Guests with an excellent meal and service experience. The Busser is responsible for efficiently clearing, cleaning and resetting tables, while assisting food servers in all aspects of guest table service, maximizing table turns and maintaining restaurant flow.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, deliver and/or serve items weighing up to 20-40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift
• Ability to balance serving tray when transferring for food order
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an 6-8 hour shift
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach for products and items
• Ability to work to various temperature environment, for example low temperature in the refrigerator and high temperature in the cooking area
• Ability to clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Ability to work in loud areas, for example, the music for special performance and/or loud noise from the dishwasher machine
• Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours

Education & Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• California Food Handler Certificate
• Previous Busser experience is preferred
• Fluent in English / Preferred languages: Mandarin and Spanish
