Job description

Responsibilities

• Keeping the dining area clean and presentable, setting tables, and helping the waitstaff.
• Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as wiping down tables and polishing glassware and silverware.
• Setting tables: Placing silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments on tables.
• Clearing tables: Removing dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Refilling: Refilling water glasses, coffee, and hot tea, as well as condiment dispensers.
• Supporting waitstaff: Helping servers with tasks like bringing side plates and sauce ramekins, and alerting servers when glasses need to be refilled.
• Communicating: Communicating effectively and courteously with guests and co-workers.
• Maintaining: Ensuring the stock area is stocked with clean linens, silverware, glassware, trays, and dishes.
• Bussers may also be responsible for restocking bus stations, emptying garbage and linen bags, and performing other daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance.
