The Busperson supports the service team in a fine dining restaurant by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, according to established fine dining standards.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately.
• Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables during and after meals, transporting them to the dishwashing area.
• Replenish water glasses, bread, and other condiments as needed, anticipating guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including stocking ice, napkins, and other supplies.
• Polish silverware and glassware to ensure a pristine presentation.
• Clean and maintain dining room floors, ensuring they are free of debris and spills.
• Assist in seating guests and managing table turns efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or fine dining establishment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and bus tubs (up to 25 lbs regularly).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
