Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a friendly Busperson to support our restaurant teams in Austin. You’ll keep tables clean and properly set, assist Food Runners and servers, and help deliver beverages with a smile. A strong guest-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

You’ll learn to operate the Host Stand, answer guest questions about the menu, and perform opening and closing duties. This role emphasizes hospitality, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set; assist Food Runner as needed.
• Work closely with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver exemplary hospitality.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance; be an ambassador of the establishment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary


• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery


• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times


• Learn to operate the Host Stand


• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions


• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned


• Process all payment methods


• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance


• Perform other duties as assigned
