Job summary

White Lodging in Indianapolis is seeking a friendly Busperson to support our dining team across premium hotels. You will help keep tables clean, assist servers, and deliver beverages with a smile.

You’ll learn the host stand, understand the menu, and respond to guest questions while maintaining a professional appearance. The role emphasizes teamwork, fast pace, and guest-focused hospitality in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set, assist Food Runner.
• Coordinate with servers and assist with table maintenance, clearing, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and exhibit hospitality.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Know menu items and ingredients, and answer guest questions accurately.
• Perform opening and closing duties and other assigned tasks.
• Process all payment methods.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as a company ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
