Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a personable Busperson to support our dining operations. You will greet guests, prepare tables, and manage beverage orders with a focus on fast, friendly service.

Your role includes clearing dishes, bussing tables, and maintaining clean work areas to ensure a smooth guest experience. Candidates should have excellent customer service and communication skills, be able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests seated at assigned station and take beverage orders.
• Receive, fulfill, and refill drink orders from guests.
• Clear dishes, wipe tables, and transport bus tubs to the kitchen.
• Set up tables according to standards and maintain side stations.
• Ensure smooth flow of orders from kitchen to guest and check dish presentation.
• Assist in final dish preparation and maintain fast service.
• Handle guest complaints and uphold sanitation standards.
• Complete side work as needed.

The BUSPERSON is responsible for:

Clean tables by removing soiled dishes, silverware, glassware, and refuse and wiping tabletop and seats. Set up tables according to established standards. Receive and fulfill beverage orders.

• Greet guests seated in assigned station.
• Receive and fulfill/refill drink orders from guests.
• Remove dishes from tables and place in plastic bus tub (approx. 40 lbs. in weight) in a timely manner.
• Set up tables according to established standards.
• Transport filled bus tubs to kitchen dishwashing area.
• Maintain cleanliness of side station and all work areas.
• Ensuring the smooth and timely flow of orders from Kitchento the Guest.
• Checking dishes for accuracy and presentation.
• Assisting in final dish preparation.
• Maintaining fast service.
• Handling customer complaints.
• Upholding quality and sanitationstandards
• Completing side work as needed
