Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a thoughtful and creative Business Valuation Intern for our Valuation Services Group in Portland, ME. This full-time summer internship offers hands-on experience with client valuations and detailed report production.

You will work with senior staff on market research, value assessments, and collaboration with business owners across industries. Strong analytical and communication skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student in a Finance, Economics or Business-related program.
• Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week during the summer session.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Research and Analyze Business Value: participate in the assessment and value review of client acquisitions/sales opportunities.
• Research Markets: conduct industry research and analyze economic factors impacting clients.
• Client Interaction: collaborate with business owners and decision makers across industries.
• Produce reports: create valuation reports with detailed, professional presentation.
