Job Description

The Business Unit Compliance Analyst at Regions is a first-line risk management role ensuring that business activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations. This position may involve full ownership of processes, reports, or procedures within a specific line of business, serving as an expert in compliance issues.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant rules and regulations impacting products, services, and operations.
  • Partner with business leadership as a subject matter expert on compliance issues.
  • Research laws and monitor for regulatory changes.
  • Assess the impact of new laws and regulations on the business.
  • Resolve complex compliance problems or transactions.
  • Manage monitoring and testing programs for compliance effectiveness.
  • Develop policies and procedures, and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate compliance training for business units.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries.
  • Supervise compliance team members as needed.

This role is exempt from FLSA timekeeping and overtime.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of compliance-related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience.
Preferences
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred.

Position is primarily remote, based in Birmingham, Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Orlando, or Tampa, with occasional on-site requirements.

Position Details

Full-time, with salary ranges from approximately $81,083 to $102,750 USD, plus potential incentives.
