Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business transformation, change management, or process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on change management and communication planning within large-scale transformation programs preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech/BBA/BA) or equivalent; MBA or M.Tech preferred.
• Change management methodologies (ADKAR, Kotter), stakeholder engagement, communication planning, readiness assessment, risk mitigation, metrics-based evaluation.
• Prosci Change Management certification preferred.

• Lead stakeholder consulting, communications, and engagement to translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused messages.

Vanguard is seeking an experienced change management and communications professional to support strategic initiatives that help Vanguard navigate organizational change, business transformation, and enablement efforts. This role partners closely with leaders, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to develop and execute change strategies, communications, leader readiness activities, and stakeholder engagement plans that drive successful outcomes. This role requires someone who can operate as both a strategist and practitioner, translating complex and evolving business priorities into clear actions that support adoption, understanding, and sustained organizational effectiveness. Success will require the ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, leveraging a variety of communication channels, formats, and storytelling techniques to drive engagement and understanding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple initiatives simultaneously, consulting with leaders, navigating ambiguity, and building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Candidates in this role will demonstrate:

• Strategic change management expertise, developing and executing change strategies that help leaders and crews successfully navigate organizational, operational, and business transformation initiatives while driving adoption of new behaviors, processes, and ways of working.
• Stakeholder consulting, communications, and engagement capabilities, building trusted partnerships with leaders, SMEs, and cross‑functional partners while translating complex topics into clear, compelling, and audience‑focused messages that foster understanding, alignment, and commitment to change.
• Leadership enablement and readiness focus, coaching leaders, facilitating discussions, and developing tools and resources that equip leaders to communicate effectively, support their teams through change, and reinforce desired outcomes.
• Understanding of the people side of change, recognizing how organizational change impacts individuals and teams, proactively identifying adoption risks and resistance points, and developing strategies that promote engagement, ownership, and long‑term success.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and complexity, proactively identifying risks, connecting information across workstreams, synthesizing diverse inputs, and driving clarity on evolving priorities and decisions.
• Facilitation and engagement expertise, leading workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder conversations that surface insights, build alignment, and move initiatives forward.
• Adaptive and innovative problem solving, leveraging data, feedback, and emerging tools, including AI‑enabled capabilities, to improve communications, drive engagement, and enhance organizational outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in business transformation, change management, or process improvement initiatives.
• Preferred experience with hands‑on change management and communication planning within large‑scale transformation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech/BBA/BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience required; graduate degree (MBA or M.Tech) preferred.
• Good to have skills include change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter), stakeholder engagement, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment, risk mitigation, and metrics‑based success evaluation. Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and executive communication skills are essential, along with cross‑functional collaboration and influencing without authority.
• Preferred certifications: Prosci Change Management.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment, acting as a strategic partner to leadership and a tactical guide to project teams
