Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a seasoned change management professional to lead and coordinate transformation programs. You will develop and monitor change plans, secure leadership buy-in, and drive stakeholder engagement across departments.

The role emphasizes risk management, measurement of change outcomes, and collaboration with project teams and external partners. A strong track record in business transformation is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related work experience, with three years of business transformation and/or change management experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors change plans for large initiatives and secures senior management buy-in across the department/division.
• Provides insight on best practices and ensures business transformation aligns with company strategy and market conditions.
• Communicates change management status and issues regularly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships and facilitates communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks, communicating solutions to management and stakeholders for input.
• Develops measurement processes for change management success and maturity models.
• Maintains productive relationships with project team members, consultants, and stakeholders at executive and operational levels.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

1. Develops, implements, and monitors master change and communication plans for large departmental or multi year initiatives and programs. Contributes expertise and leads a business engagement plan, including ways of assessing readiness and feedback. Secures senior management buy-in across the department/division.

2. Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior change management experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure business transformation and or change initiatives are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.

3. Communicates business transformation and change management status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

4. Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

5. Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

6. Develops measurement processes for change management success that help business partners do self-assessments based on communicated maturity models.

7. Builds and maintains productive working relationships with various project team members, consultants and stakeholders at both the executive and operational level.

8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
