Job summary

SATO America LLC, based in Romeoville, IL, is seeking a Business Systems Project Manager to lead ERP, CRM, reporting, and automation initiatives. You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Experience and IT to deliver complex transformations.

You will oversee D365 deployment, governance, resource coordination, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring successful adoption and measurable value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.

Position Summary

The Business Systems Project Manager based in Romeoville, IL leads business application and digital transformation initiatives across SATO America. This role partners with business leaders and technical teams to successfully deliver ERP, CRM, reporting, automation, and operational improvement projects.

The position will play a key role in future Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives while ensuring project governance, change management, resource coordination, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead cross-functional business systems projects from initiation through deployment.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success measures.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate steering committee and executive status meetings.

ERP & D365 Initiatives

• Support ERP modernization projects.
• Lead D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) implementation and enhancement activities.
• Coordinate integrations between ERP, CRM, reporting, and manufacturing systems.
• Support testing, training, and adoption activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Experience, and IT teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution plans.
• Manage vendors, consultants, and external implementation partners.

Change Management

• Develop communication and training plans.
• Drive user adoption initiatives.
• Ensure organizational readiness for system changes.

PMO & Governance

• Maintain project documentation.
• Track project budgets and milestones.
• Provide executive reporting.
• Ensure projects follow established methodologies and governance practices.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
• Strong business process and requirements gathering skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
• ERP implementation experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• PMP Certification.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

You are fully vested on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. SATO will match 100%/dollar-for-dollar of your 401(k)-deferral amount of the first 3% of your pay and an additional match of 50%/$.50 on the next 2% of your pay. For example, if you defer 5% of your pay into the 401(k) Plan, SATO will make a 4% matching contribution.
