Job summary

Greystar offers a 10-week Business Systems Internship where you’ll contribute to the Customer Success Team, gaining hands-on experience in project management, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

You’ll engage with Marketing, Legal, IT, Data, Finance, and Operations teams, supporting reporting, system integration, and data analytics while preparing a final capstone project presentation.

Qualifications

• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Pursing a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Flexibility and willingness to pivot.
• Quantitative background demonstrating analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
• Project management skills to create project plans and track progress.

Responsibilities

As a Business Systems Intern, you will contribute to key initiatives within the Customer Success Team. This role offers hands‑on experience in project management, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Support national and regional marketing, legal compliance, system integration, custom reporting and data analytic teams.
• Participate in meeting planning and presentation / collateral creation.
• Respond quickly and accurately to internal customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with team, bringing a fresh perspective, to creatively solve problems.
• Work independently to complete capstone project and presentation.

The Greystar Summer Internship Program packs 10 weeks with real projects, real responsibility, and real connections. You’ll dive straight into the action on a team like Investment, Finance, Marketing, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, or Operations—doing work that actually moves the needle, not just watching from the sidelines.

• Program dates: June 2, 2027 – August 6, 2027
• The compensation for this position is $26.50/hour.

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
