Job summary

UW Medicine is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for the UW Medicine Department of Analytics for Quality, Population Health and Value. This hybrid role combines data programming, reporting, and analytics to support value-based initiatives.

The candidate will develop dashboards using Power BI/Tableau, manage data sources, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive operational analytics and governance across UW Medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in analytics, data management, BI reporting, or related fields.
• Healthcare industry experience or knowledge of healthcare data workflows.
• Strong SQL, ETL, data modeling, and BI tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides data programming and analytics supporting clinical and system leadership.
• Develops, cleanses, prepares, validates, and distributes reports from multiple data sources.
• Creates dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Ensures timely reporting and maintains design documents and report inventories.
• Collaborates across departments to optimize value-based analytics workflows.
• Drives process improvements and governance for analytics programs.
