Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role.
• Experience writing SQL queries across SQL Server and Oracle.
• Able to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence for PM and docs.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and sales.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and proactive.
• Familiar with AI-powered tools for work optimization.
• Mortgage industry knowledge strongly preferred.
• Familiar with ETL tools (Alteryx) or Tableau.
• Basic Python knowledge.
• Familiarity with data source mapping or system integration docs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Research system functionality, DB structures, and data flows.
• Own and maintain the data source inventory and mapping.
• Lead solution design translating business requests to tech requirements.
• Create detailed, system-specific functional requirements and docs.
• Lead requirement walkthroughs with IT teams.
• Serve as liaison between sales, customers, and technical teams.
• Write and run SQL queries across multiple databases.
• Identify potential issues and suggest prevention actions.
• Maintain project documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Other duties as assigned.
