Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

You assist with our configuration and integration projects by eliciting and analyzing requirements, liaising between business and technical resources, and documenting business processes or systems and their integration. You must be able to quickly absorb new and different types of information, modify and adapt existing knowledge, and work in a changing and evolving environment to ensure successful project delivery using an agile scrum methodology. You are a critical thinker who enjoys diving into the details and seeking to understand the “how” and “why”, while balancing the need for working software over comprehensive documentation.

Meet Your Future Team:

The retail technology team partners closely with various parts of the business to deliver the Arc’teryx retail experience roadmap. In this role, you will work with talented teams to deliver new systems and enhancements that will strengthen the retail guest experience. We dig in and get to the root of the right problems.

If you were the Business Systems Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Working alongside cross-functional teams to elicit, document and review HRM business requirements and policies
  • Supporting the implementation and configuration of a new HRIS; UKG Pro
  • Building out and supporting execution of functional test cases, capturing the results in TestRail and collaborating with the project team for defect resolution
  • Collaborating with various business stakeholders to develop business requirements detailing user stories, use cases, and flow diagrams to support development design and build activities
  • Ensuring stakeholders are consulted and accepting of the technology product at each step of the implementation journey
  • Developing subject matter expertise in specific retail domains, ensuring that the technology product maintains exceptional quality when delivered to production
  • Working alongside internal and external development teams and technology SaaS vendors to implement new technology products, clarifying any questions relating to business requirements or process along the way
  • Working with Agile teams contributing to successful sprint objectives
  • Clarifying questions and providing documentation to support completion of development and test phases
  • Creating understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Documenting detailed user stories, process flows, system flows, and acceptance criteria that will be used for business process review, solution & technical architecture, and quality assurance
  • Identifying and documenting business process, changes, and improvements
  • Facilitating and managing stakeholder engagement
  • Maintaining process and system documentation as business and systems evolve
  • Developing, updating, and embedding your extensive expertise on business areas & technologies in scope within the Business Analysts chapter and the agile squads
  • Expanding the UKG Pro product to new geographical regions
Are you our next Business Systems Analyst, Retail Technology?
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, information systems or a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience
  • You have experience working with HRIS and HRM policies
  • You have experience with UKG Pro configuration, integration, and data migration
  • You have familiarity with UKG APIs or middleware like Boomi or MuleSoft and business process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart), and HR reporting tools
  • You have experience executing functional testing and working with quality assurance on defect triage & resolution
  • You have experience in end-to-end HRIS implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and change management
  • You have an understanding of HR data privacy, security best practices, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, PIPEDA) in HRIS systems
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, working on agile projects related to e-commerce and/or retail
