Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable system solutions. You will optimize business processes, support system enhancements, and ensure governance and security policies are upheld.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in a BA/BSA role, experience with enterprise platforms, and strong documentation and communication skills to drive successful outcomes across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst (2–5 years).
• Experience with enterprise platforms (CRM/Salesforce, ERP, HRIS, or data/reporting).
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and/or SAFe methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into system requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in processes and systems.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product owners on design and implementation.
• Support end-to-end lifecycle activities including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate workshops and interviews to align stakeholders on design.
