What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead analytics projects independently, delivering high-quality analytics solutions with minimal supervision
- Design and maintain data infrastructure, building robust data models and ETL pipelines
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate complex datasets
- Communicate complex data findings into clear business insights through strong written and verbal communication
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to understand business needs and deliver actionable, data-driven insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or analytic engineer role
- 5+ years of experience with SQL programming, relational databases, data management, and data warehousing
- 3+ years of experience in reporting and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with healthcare data, including claims and eligibility datasets
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or Snowflake
- Strong understanding of systems thinking and its application in data engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
