Job summary

RealCold is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to act as a bridge between IT and users, translating business needs into technical solutions. You will gather requirements, document processes, and maintain dashboards to inform decisions.

The role exposes you to WMS/TMS environments and reports within Operations IT. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience, 0–2 years in the field, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in information systems, computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related experience, internships or coursework count toward requirement.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create solutions supporting business strategies.
• Provide first line technical support for software and basic networking issues; escalate complex problems.
• Document system requirements, define scope, and create specs for dashboard and process development.
• Support creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports; refresh data sources.

Role Overview

As a Business Systems Analyst I the incumbent will function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise The incumbent will provide technical support documentation and be responsible for small projects while translating business needs into simple technical solutions In addition to troubleshooting everyday issues they will gather requirements and maintain dashboardsreports that inform decision making This role will report within Operations IT and offers exposure to systems such as WMS and TMS

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Review analyze and evaluate user needs to create solutions that support overall business strategies
• Provide first line technical support for common software and basic networking issues; escape complex problems to senior staff
• Document system requirements defines scope and objectives and create specifications that drive system dashboard and process development and implementation
• Document processes and troubleshooting steps; maintain FAQs and knowledge based articles
• Support creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports refresh data sources run simple queries format charts
• Will be responsible for onboarding tasks equipment setup account provisioning
• Work with vendors and internal partners under the direction of senior staff
• Research low costbuilt in analytics features and flag useful tools
• Perform other duties as assigned documentation testing data validation

Requirements of the Position

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsored visa support Associates degree in information systems computer science business or related field or equivalent experience Two years of related experience internships part time work coursework count towards this requirement

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA A Microsoft Power BI DA 100 or similar

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Basic technical literacy Microsoft Office browser navigation and willingness to learn new tools
• Familiarity with database concepts and basic SQL is a plus
• Interest in data visualization and reporting; experience with Power BI preferred
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage tasks and follow through on assignments
• Eagerness to learn and grow in systems analysis and BI
• Able to work in short timeframe and under pressure

Work Requirements

Typical workweeks standard 40 hours with some overtime Time will be spent in an office setting Physical Work Environment Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust noise etc Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries Environment may be fast paced at times You will be working around moving machines order pickers and forklifts
