Gorilla Commerce is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Co-op in Norwalk, CT. You'll assist with collecting requirements, document processes, analyze data, test enhancements, and support cross-functional projects.

Reporting to the Technology Team, the Business Systems Analyst Co-op will support Gorilla Commerce's technology and business systems initiatives by helping gather requirements, document processes, analyze data, test system enhancements, and support cross-functional projects. This role is designed for a motivated student who is eager to gain hands‑on experience with enterprise systems, business process improvement, integrations, reporting, and technology operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical team members.
Assistwith gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements for technology projects and system enhancements.
Support process mapping, workflow documentation, and analysis of current business systems toidentifyopportunities for improvement.
Partner with team members and stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify scope, and track open questions, risks, and next steps.
Assistwith testing, troubleshooting, and validating changes across business applications and integrations.
Gain exposure toapplicationsused across thebusiness, includingNetSuite ERP, integrations,AmazonSeller Central,business intelligence tools,andother internal platforms.
Help prepare project documentation, user guides, testing notes, status updates, and training materials.
Support data analysis, reporting validation, andissuetriage by reviewing system outputs,identifyingdiscrepancies, and documenting findings.
Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and cross-functional working sessions to learn how technology supports business operations.
Currently pursuingaBachelor's degree inInformation Systems, Information Technology,Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedfield.
Interestin business systems, technology operations, project management, data analysis, process improvement, or enterprise applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Comfortable learning new systems and tools; experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Ability to ask thoughtful questions, document information clearly, and follow through on assigned work.
Previousinternship, class project, or hands‑on experience with systems, databases, analytics, automation, or business process documentation is a plus.
