Job summary

VSolvit is seeking a motivated and versatile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position bridges business needs with technical solutions while driving Agile practices and delivering value across projects.

As a key liaison between stakeholders and development teams, you will gather requirements, create user stories, and facilitate ceremonies. You will also monitor progress, report outcomes, and coach the team on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with Power Platform Capabilities.
• Experience with Functional Testing and Test Documentation (Test Cases / Test Scripts).
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems.
• US Citizen; DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Create process flows, use cases, and user stories to ensure clarity and alignment
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to optimize processes
• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution
• Deliver presentations and detailed reports to stakeholders
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and the importance of continuous improvement
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to ensure productivity
• Track and report on team metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts
• Foster collaboration and open communication between team members and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and promote a culture of accountability
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized
