Job summary

VSolvit LLC is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions and drives Agile practices, serving as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams to deliver high‑impact projects.

You will gather requirements, create user stories, and facilitate agile ceremonies while supporting testing and backlog management. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Experience with SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities.
• Experience with Functional Testing and Test Documentation (Test Cases / Test Scripts).
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar PM software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize based on impact.
• DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain; Must be US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Create process flows, use cases, and user stories for clarity.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Work with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs.
• Support system testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders on progress.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Coach the team on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions.
• Track metrics like velocity, cycle time, and burndown.
• Promote collaboration and accountability among team members.
