Job summary

Carriage Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Dynamics 365 BC and related reporting tools within our IT team. This role focuses on optimizing ERP processes and delivering reliable solutions across finance, operations, and supply chain.

Hybrid work model with Fridays remote. Candidates should have 5–10 years in ERP/Business Systems, a BS in CS or related field, and strong communication skills to partner with stakeholders and developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, business or information science.
• 5–10 years in ERP/IT roles.
• Experience with Dynamics Business Central.
• ERP implementation, administration and support.
• Operational Data Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Fluent English (read, write, speak).
• MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Business Central support resource across core business functions.
• Troubleshoot system issues: transactions, configurations, permissions, workflows.
• Optimize order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory/warehouse processes.
• Configure and enhance Business Central: reports, workflows, pages, queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and developers on enhancements.
• Gather requirements, support testing/UAT, ensure delivery.
• Strong knowledge across finance, supply chain, and operations.
• Support users in a fast-paced ERP environment.
• Knowledge of AL, extensions, and upgrade-safe customization.
• Strong problem solving, communication and documentation.
• Jet Reporting knowledge or experience.
• Binary Stream - Multi-Entity Management.

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This person will help support our various applications (Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 BC, OneStream) and reporting systems.

Compensation: 95k+

Job Type: FT (Hybrid WFH Fridays)

Location: Houston, Texas Galleria Area (Must be local to Houston)

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Science.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Knowledge and experience in Dynamics Business Central
• Experience in ERP implementation, administration and support
• Operational Data Warehouse experience a plus
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Must demonstrate basic knowledge or expertise in the following technology disciplines: Servers, Desktop/Laptop/Workstation Computing, Networking, Security, Programming, and/or IT Operations
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
