Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from utility operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders. Support process mapping and gap analysis across legacy and modernized utility systems. Partner with solution architects and developers to translate requirements into system design and test cases. Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage during system implementations. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and maintain requirements traceability documentation. Support change management and training material development for end users.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of business analysis experience, ideally in a energy environment. Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and facilitation skills. Familiarity with energy operational systems (ADMS, OMS, GIS, AMI, or similar). Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting a major utility system implementation or upgrade. Business analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA) a plus. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies. Consulting background supporting utility clients.
