InterChange Group Inc is looking for a Business Systems Analyst based in Harrisonburg, VA. This role involves configuring and optimizing the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) while acting as the key liaison between IT and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience with Blue Yonder, along with strong SQL and data analysis skills.

InterChange Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the primary Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) resource supporting cold and dry storage operations. Acting as the key liaison between IT and warehouse operations, you will configure, support, optimize, and extend the WMS so that it consistently meets the needs of a fast-paced, multi-client 3PL environment. This hands‑on, individual-contributor role pairs deep Blue Yonder configuration and development (MOCA/SQL, LextEdit) with day‑to‑day partnership alongside operations leadership — translating floor-level needs into reliable, scalable system solutions while mentoring other members of the team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends/holidays for project work; participates in after‑hours/on‑call rotation
Employment Type: Full-Time – Exempt (Salaried)
Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and IT, partnering with operations leadership, supervisors, and floor teams to understand needs and translate them into effective WMS solutions.
Gather operational and functional requirements; develop and document functional designs and recommended solutions.
Act as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point for WMS questions across cold and dry storage operations.
Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with external vendors and Blue Yonder support.
Configure, maintain, and optimize the Blue Yonder WMS so it is properly supported and aligned to business processes across temperature‑controlled and dry facilities.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving system configuration, integrations, MOCA/SQL queries, and overall system performance.
Write and tune SQL and MOCA commands; use LextEdit and interpret Blue Yonder trace files to diagnose and resolve issues.
Apply expert knowledge of WMS data structures, master data, and their dependencies to safeguard data integrity.
Identify opportunities for automation and systemic enhancements by leveraging WMS capabilities.
Develop and implement enhancements and software work requests within agreed‑upon schedule and quality expectations.
Unit test custom development and collaborate with Quality Assurance resources on test execution.
Adhere to change‑management protocols; create and maintain documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
Manage and balance multiple priorities in a fast‑changing environment.
Coach and mentor other team members on WMS functionality and best practices.
Demonstrate a desire for continuous learning and stay current with Blue Yonder features and supply‑chain technology trends.
4+ years of experience configuring, implementing, or developing in Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA / RedPrairie).
Experience with Blue Yonder WMS version 2019 or higher.
Proficiency in SQL, including writing MOCA commands in a Blue Yonder WMS context.
Strong data analysis and root‑cause analysis skills.
Ability to design flexible, scalable solutions that meet current and future requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with warehouse operations.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio).
Self‑managed and motivated; organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced, fluid environment.
Commitment to delivering exceptional internal customer service.
Experience supporting cold‑chain / temperature‑controlled and dry warehousing in a 3PL environment.
Experience with Blue Yonder Warehouse Labor Management (WLM).
Experience with Blue Yonder Billing Management System (BMS).
Experience with the Blue Yonder Trace Profiler.
Experience with Snowflake and data mining / reporting.
Familiarity with RF/RDT form creation and host/ERP and EDI integrations.
Work is performed in both office and active warehouse settings, including temperature‑controlled environments such as coolers and freezers (which may reach sub‑zero temperatures) as well as ambient dry‑storage areas.
Required personal protective equipment (PPE) for cold environments is provided; appropriate cold‑weather gear must be worn when working in refrigerated and freezer spaces.
Must be able to move about warehouse facilities — including standing and walking for extended periods — and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to adhere to all safety and cybersecurity policies.
Occasional travel may be required < 25%
