Business System Consultant- Data & Statistical Sciences

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As a Business System Consultant, the individual will support the Data & Statistical Sciences department, which in turn supports the conduct, data collection, and analysis of clinical trial data for a new drug application.

A key element is to ensure the applications are current and compliant through the software lifecycle process.

They are also responsible, with the business, for identifying and developing new opportunities to improve processes through the adoption of new software.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of work experience in IT or pharma. Of the experience required, must have:

1. 5 years of work experience collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and communicate business process improvements for product quality and costs, leveraging the use of Cloud Applications, Cloud APIs, Webservices, and Microservices;
2. Experience developing Web Applications or databases for at least one of the following: Medidata RAVE, Oracle Inform, IRT, and eCOA;
3. Experience installing on both cloud and on-prem, applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, and producing appropriate documentation;
4. Experience analyzing current and emerging business needs and evaluating alternative technology solutions using standard information systems methodologies, including Waterfall or Agile.

Of the experience required, must have at least 2 years of the following:

1. Working with Data Management and Statistics Business to synthesize needs to develop IS business cases;
2. Following SDLC processes using project management tools, including at least one of the following: JIRA, Confluence, and JENKINS;
3. Working with at least two of the following: Salesforce, SAS, Veeva Suite of products, Oracle Life Science Hub, MS Visio, MS Office.

Work experience may be gained concurrently.

Pay Range: $148,952.49 - $197,000
