Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking a data‑driven HR analytics professional in New York to translate business needs into reporting and data solutions. You will own data pipelines, support HRIS integrations, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate across HR, IT, and Finance.

This role emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, analytics or related field.
  • Hands-on HRIS and data management; Workday preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SFTP, encryption and secure data exchange.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with HR, Finance, IT teams.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements with technology.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and automation/workflow tools.
  • UiPath or similar automation platform is a plus.

  • Help maintain data privacy, security, and access controls across systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, integrations, and system functionality.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support initiatives and leadership.

Job description

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, data quality, workflows, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot system and data issues, coordinating enhancements to maintain accuracy, consistency, and strong data governance.
  • Support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of data pipelines, integrations, and data storage solutions.
  • Provide functional support for a variety of enterprise applications and business systems outside of the primary HR platform.
  • Help maintain appropriate data privacy, security, and access controls across HR and business systems.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for processes, integrations, system functionality, and operational procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business initiatives, operational needs, and leadership requests.
Core Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, business analytics, data management, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms, system integrations, and data management; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs, authentication methods, encryption, digital certificates, SFTP, and other secure data exchange technologies.
  • Experience supporting financial, enterprise, or other business‑critical applications is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, IT, application development teams, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, leverage technology effectively, and proactively address potential system or data issues.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, automation, workflow, or orchestration tools.
  • Experience with UiPath or comparable automation and integration platforms is a plus.
