About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (BC) to support and optimize our ERP environment. This role will be critical in bridging business needs with ERP capabilities, ensuring system reliability, streamlined processes, and data accuracy across operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business users to gather, analyze, and document ERP requirements across warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, planning, and accounting functions
- Support ERP modules related to supply chain, logistics, and finance, ensuring alignment with business operations
- Configure and troubleshoot ERP workflows, transactions, and system integrations
- Work with EDI transactions (inbound/outbound) to support trading partner connectivity and supply chain visibility
- Build and maintain SQL queries and reports to support decision‑making and data validation
- Manage ERP‑related XML and SFTP integrations for secure data exchange
- Conduct system testing and UAT, ensuring ERP enhancements and upgrades meet requirements
- Collaborate with accounting teams, applying basic accounting knowledge to reconcile ERP data and resolve discrepancies
- Develop process documentation, training materials, and deliver end‑user training as needed
- Act as the liaison between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst with focus on ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong knowledge in shipping/logistics
- Experience with Warehouse Management systems
- Hands‑on experience with EDI, SQL, XML, and SFTP integrations
- Familiarity with system testing processes and defect tracking tools
- Basic understanding of accounting principles as they apply to ERP processes
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or related field
EXPERIENCE
Progressive leadership positions with increasing responsibilities in a detail‑oriented, fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience
