Job summary

Yoder’s Building Services is seeking a Business Support Analyst to support ~90 users across sales, operations, inventory, and purchasing. This on-site role sits in a small IT team driving technology and process improvements.

You will develop processes, train staff, and support ERP systems with a focus on efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate will have ERP experience, strong troubleshooting and project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex accounting topics clearly.

Qualifications

• ERP knowledge or similar systems.
• Excellent software testing/troubleshooting and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; explain accounting issues clearly.
• Strong logic and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of business concepts such as sales, inventory, cost, deposits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document business processes for each department to improve workflow efficiency.
• Develop training materials and collaborate with HR to train new employees.
• Provide refresher training for current employees.
• Answer ERP questions and assist users with ERP issues.
• Research and analyze problematic ERP transactions and guide fixes.
• Write specs and designs for BI dashboards and email alerts.
• Learn new ERP features and implement them into processes via training and documentation updates.
• Coordinate, set up, and test ERP integrations with vendors, customers, and internal users.
• Set up and configure ERP user accounts, permissions, and products.
• Provide level 1 ERP support with escalation as needed.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Business Support Analyst to support our base of ~90 users in sales, operations, inventory, and purchasing roles. This role is part of a small IT team that is positioned to move the organization ahead in our technology, systems, and capabilities. ONSITE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document business processes for each department, with an eye towards finding and improving workflow efficiency.
• Develop training materials and work with HR to train new employees that start with the company.
• Periodically perform refresher training for current employees.
• Answer questions and assist employees with their ERP issues and concerns.
• Research and analyze problematic ERP transactions, and provide guidance on how to fix them.
• Write specifications and designs for new business intelligence dashboards, and email alerts.
• Research, test, and familiarize yourself with new ERP features, and implement them into business processes by training employees and updating documentation.
• Coordinate, set up, and test ERP integrations with vendors, customers, and internal users.
• Set up and configure ERP user accounts, permissions, products, etc.
• Provide level 1 support to ERP users with escalation as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with ERP software or similar systems.
• Excellent software testing/troubleshooting and project management skills.
