iCapital, Inc. is seeking a Business Solutions Consultant II - Associate in Colorado Springs, CO.

You will lead requirements gathering and analysis across the software development life cycle to support product enhancements for our annuities platform. The role requires 3+ years in financial services or insurance, knowledge of life/annuity products, and experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile or Waterfall.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial services or insurance sales/support.
• 2+ years gathering and writing business/technical requirements in an SDLC environment for life/annuity products.
• Knowledge of Life or Annuity products required.
• Industry certifications or licenses preferred.
• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Refine documentation for clarity and consistency.
• Analyze customer requests to assess system impacts and tradeoffs.
• Expand industry knowledge of insurance products through research.
• Gather data from multiple sources to develop solutions to business challenges.
• Evaluate potential solutions and tradeoffs.
• Implement standard and non-standard customer requirements within at least one platform.
• Identify and analyze problems; recommend solutions.
• Manage day-to-day issues with minimal oversight.
• Generate innovative ideas by evaluating client requirements and system functionality.
• Resolve complex client issues with senior support when needed.
• Elicit customer requirements through reviews, analyses, and walkthroughs.
• Assess customer needs independently and with others.
• Develop clear specifications with appropriate detail.

Business Solutions Consultant II - Associate

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Business Solutions Consultant to serve as a lead role in research and requirement analysis. This individual will complete the requirements that the Development team will use to develop or enhance the company’s product offerings and require little guidance. This role is involved throughout the software development life cycle starting with requirements gathering and continuing all the way through to the successful release of the software.

Responsibilities

• Refinedocumentation for clarity and consistency by anticipating questions from development and testing teams and ensuring content is unambiguous and complete.
• Analyzecustomer requests to assess system impacts and engage customers in discussions regarding the benefits and tradeoffs of proposed updates.
• Expandindustry knowledge of insurance products through continuous learning and research.
• Gatherdata from multiple sources, including customers, product guides, marketing materials, prospectuses, style guides, and mockups, to develop solutions to business challenges.
• Evaluatepotential solutions and make informed tradeoff decisions.
• Implementstandard and non-standard customer requirements within at least one platform.
• Identifyand analyze problems while recommending effective solutions.
• Manageday-to-day issues and challenges independently with minimal oversight.
• Generateinnovative ideas by evaluating client requirements and system functionality.
• Resolveless complex client issues directly and engage senior team members when appropriate.
• Elicitcustomer requirements through documentation reviews, workflow analysis, and walkthrough sessions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working experience in the financial services or insurance industry, either directly through sales and marketing support, illustration or through a vendor position
• 2+ years of experience in gathering and writing business and technical requirements in an SDLC environment for life or annuity products is required
• Knowledge of Life or Annuity products and insurance products is required
• Industry Certifications and/or licenses is preferred
• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
