Assurant, Inc. is seeking a Business Reporting Analyst to design, build and maintain operational and management reports for US depot operations. The role gathers requirements, performs data analysis and develops reporting solutions, maintaining strong customer relations through clear communication.

Hybrid role with work at Lewisville, TX or Mt Juliet, TN facilities 2-3 days per week. The candidate will produce reports, automate data processes, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with business partners

Formación

• 3+ years working as a reporting analyst with SQL and Excel.
• 2+ years of experience with visual tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.

The Business Reporting Analyst designs, builds and maintains operational and management reports for US depot operations. This role will gather, organizes, and documents requirements and performs system/data analysis and report solution development based on requirements. This position has responsibility for production reporting support.The Analyst fully accommodates customer’s business needs and maintains a positive customer relationship with strong communication and coordination. This role must possess the ability to communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms when working with non-technical constituents.

This is a hybrid role reporting into our Lewisville, TX or Mt Juliet, T N facilities 2-3 days per week

Additional duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of acquired expertise.
• Begins to establish areas of subject matter expertise and be able to communicate technical concepts into non-technical terms when working with non-technical constituents.
• Regularly produces internal and external customer and client reports.
• Data and report automation to drive improved and efficient profitability analysis.
• Understand variance analysis of key metrics and early identification of risks and opportunities.
• Measure established key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations/alternative courses of action to improve performance.
• Work collaboratively with internal customers to continually improve existing reporting or develop new reporting
• Propose methods and ideas to improve the reporting systems

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• 3+ years working as a reporting analyst with SQL and Excel within a professional environment.
• 2+ years of experience working with visual tools, Power BI or Tableau is desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Advanced PC knowledge, Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel is required (including pivot tables & vlookups; advanced macros a plus)
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of SQL, SSRS, Power BI, SSMS, Oracle SQL Developer
• Strong mathematical, analytical and statistical skills.
