Job summary

Optimal Solution Company seeks a Business Systems Analyst to perform analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily support for all applications. You will gather requirements, translate them for developers, and support global sales reporting.

The role emphasizes data loads, validation, UAT, process documentation, and reporting enhancements, with hybrid in-office work Tue-Thu and WFH Mon/Fri in the Michigan area. A technical degree and 2–4 years of experience are required.

• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
• Collaborate closely with team members to support Global Sales reporting.
• Perform data loads, validation, UAT, process documentation, and reporting enhancements.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
• Train within the Global Sales space and participate in twice-weekly team meetings.
• Manage data loading and reporting for an assigned region, while supporting other regions as needed.
• Progress into more detailed North America reporting and additional data validation responsibilities as knowledge of the processes grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred. MBA or other related advanced degree highly preferred or open to equivalent experience

2-4 years' experience required, will take more experience if they can fit within the bill rate
