As a Business Relationship Manager II (BRM) in Business Banking, you’ll help improve the lives of our clients and the well-being of their businesses through financial solutions, education, and advice. You’ll manage a portfolio of new and existing business clients by building relationships and providing financial advice with a focus on client experience and risk management.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $1.5 million.
  • Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to their financial needs and circumstances.
  • Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client and ensure the profitability of the portfolio.
  • Conduct regular in-person calls with prospects, centers of influence (COIs), and existing clients at their places of business. Follow a disciplined relationship development process and review strategies with your manager.
  • Identify and pursue potential new business clients, cultivating long-term, primary banking relationships.
  • Identify clients’ personal financial goals and needs; collaborate with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists.
  • Provide leadership by supporting your assigned branches and following sound risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Banking Relationship Management or related business lending experience.
  • Knowledge of business credit, core business products, and general business practices. Understanding of industry-specific needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to balance client needs with risks and recognize issues requiring escalation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong current business network.
