POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Benefit Services (PBS), Operations Business Product Owner (BPO) acts as the key liaison between the business sponsor or client and technology teams, focusing on high ROI and efficiency initiatives across divisions and enterprise levels. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of business requirements for new and modified applications or products, and collaborating with Technical Product Owners (TPOs) from ideation to production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define business requirements with stakeholders and technical teams for new or updated applications.
2. Manage relationships with business stakeholders to align IT projects with strategic goals.
3. Translate business needs into IT solutions, supporting project delivery and ensuring business objectives are met.
4. Document processes, conduct data quality assessments, and support project tracking.
5. Lead communication on project status, escalate issues, and facilitate resolution.
6. Participate in portfolio prioritization and manage workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in program management or as a product owner.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and requirements elicitation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities.

Additional Information

Remote work requires internet speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload via cable broadband or fiber optic service.

Salary range: $94,400 - $157,400 annually, with potential for bonuses. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
