Job Title: Process and Policy Analyst

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and compliance of policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved customer service. Collaborate with business leaders on planning projects and programs.
2. Provide complex analysis and decision support to the business to achieve key priorities. Gather information, perform analysis, and recommend actions to management for continuous improvement.
3. Define process performance measures, assess data availability, and develop methods and tools to monitor process performance.
4. Develop and lead process-related training programs, including creating workflow documents, job aids, training materials, and presentations. Evaluate external training options.
5. Maintain centralized process documentation, evaluate content for the reference library, and promote best practices in process modeling.
6. Manage large process improvement projects, including assisting IT with requirements, user acceptance testing, and process documentation.
7. Collaborate with organizational partners to enhance operational metrics collection, storage, and analysis. Prepare relevant reports using internal and external data.

Reporting Relationship: Typically Manager or above

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Knowledge of the insurance industry, including company products, services, goals, and objectives.
2. Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
3. Proven skills in business process modeling and analysis.
4. Ability to facilitate complex meetings.
5. In-depth knowledge of project management principles.
6. Expertise in change management principles and methods.
7. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
2. Minimum of seven years of related work experience.

CNA is required to include a salary range in certain jurisdictions. The range for District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington is $72,000 to $141,000 annually.
