Business Process Engineer II

Opportunity:

As a Business Process Engineer, you will develop capabilities to transition from manual system security evaluation and authorization processes to a new model emphasizing automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring, assessment, and network data gathering across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Apply process improvement and engineering methodologies to conduct process modernization projects.
  2. Assist the government in transitioning existing project teams and facilitate project activities and objectives.
  3. Perform activity and data modeling, develop modern business methods, identify best practices, and assess performance management.
  4. Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and knowledge transfer.
  5. Coordinate between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  6. Document and track requirements, driving them to completion.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of RMF (Risk Management Framework), providing a structured approach for risk mitigation of information systems and infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Define, implement, and maintain business processes to meet objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements and develop initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and work with stakeholders to identify requirements and risks.
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain best practices for adapting to changing business needs.
  • Provide technical advice on processing technology, risks, and costs.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or business discipline.
  • 7 years of experience in BPR activities.
  • 5 years of experience with Process Improvement methodologies like Agile and Six Sigma.

Pay Range: $94,400 - $198,200. Compensation depends on various factors including location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, retirement, and more. Learn more here.
