Job summary

MAP, part of WPP Enterprise Solutions, seeks a Business Process Consultant in North America (EST preferred) with a track record in business architecture and process design. Work with a global team to transform client processes, drive adoption, and deliver value through new ways of working.

You will map operating models, lead workshops, and develop playbooks while collaborating with technology, data, and marketing teams. Travel across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, social sciences or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Architecture, Process Consulting, Organization Design or Change Management.
  • Working knowledge of process design, value streams, and operating model design.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication, writing, storytelling and presentation skills for all levels.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Willingness to travel across time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather information on current ways of working.
  • Map and design operating models, capabilities, and marketing processes.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and decision rights frameworks.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve clients’ ways of working.
  • Identify improvements and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Create operational playbooks, training materials, and change/adoption strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders at cross-functional and executive levels.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-driven insights.
  • Own end-to-end client workstreams including project management and coordination between teams.

What will your day look like?

Asa member of our Business Architecture team, you will work with peersand otherconsultants, driving commercial opportunities and helping us take our service offering to the next level. More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Conducting interviews with key stakeholders to gather information about current ways of working

  • Mapping and designing organisational operating models, capabilities, and marketing processes

  • Defining and describing roles, responsibilities, and decision-rights frameworks

  • Developing and implementingsolutionsto supportand improveour clients’ ways of working

  • Identifyingareas of improvement and providing recommendations tooptimizeorganizational performance, structure, and delivery effectiveness

  • Developing operational playbooks, training materials, and change/adoption strategies that translate new ways of working into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels

  • Engagingandfacilitatingworkshops withclientstakeholders —includingcross-functionalandexecutiveaudiences— tobuildunderstandingand drive adoption of newprocesses,tools, or templates

  • Identifyingopportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-driven insight to modernize client processes and improve operational performance

  • Owning end-to-end client workstreams related to ways of working, which includes project management and coordination between teams

  • Working knowledge of business architecture practices such asprocess design, value streams, and operating model design

  • A demonstrated ability to work in complex, matrixed environments, both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills, including research, writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to form andmaintaincross-functional relationships and drive stakeholder alignment

  • A willingness to travel and be flexible, as many of our clients and colleaguesare located inother time zones

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

$45,000—$95,000 CAD
