Job summary

MAP, part of WPP Enterprise Solutions, seeks a Business Process Consultant for North America (EST-friendly) to help design operating models and cross-functional processes for global client programs.

You will interview stakeholders, map capabilities, define roles, develop playbooks, and lead workshops while exploring AI and automation to improve performance. Travel across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• 5-8 years in Business Architecture, Process Consulting, Organization Design or Change Management.
• Experience with process design, value streams, and operating model design.

With a growing portfolio of clients that specialises in designing consumer-centric strategies by combining creativity with data to build valuable relationships between consumers and brands, we are seeking a Business Process Consultant to join our team.

What will your day look like?

As a member of our Business Architecture team, you will work with peers and other consultants, driving commercial opportunities and helping us take our service offering to the next level. More specifically, your tasks include:

• Conducting interviews with key stakeholders to gather information about current ways of working
• Mapping and designing organisational operating models, capabilities, and marketing processes
• Defining and describing roles, responsibilities, and decision-rights frameworks
• Developing and implementing solutions to support and improve our clients' ways of working
• Identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations to optimize organizational performance, structure, and delivery effectiveness
• Developing operational playbooks, training materials, and change/adoption strategies that translate new ways of working into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels
• Engaging and facilitating workshops with client stakeholders - including cross-functional and executive audiences - to build understanding and drive adoption of new processes, tools, or templates
• Identifying opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-driven insight to modernize client processes and improve operational performance
• Owning end-to-end client workstreams related to ways of working, which includes project management and coordination between teams

This role is based in North America (preferably within EST time zone) - we have offices in Toronto and Austin but have flexibility on location. Y our work will depend on close collaboration with the broader team - colleagues and experts across technology, data, marketing operations, creative, and client teams. We are a leader within our field and a transformation partner for some of the most admired brands in the world.

You are strong at building relationships, running processes, and translating complexity into clear, compelling stories. In addition, you have:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, social sciences, or a similar field
• 5-8 years of experience in Business Architecture, Process Consulting, Organization Design, Change Management or similar disciplines
• Working knowledge of business architecture practices such as process design, value streams, and operating model design
• A demonstrated ability to work in complex, matrixed environments, both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, including research, writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to form and maintain cross-functional relationships and drive stakeholder alignment
• A willingness to travel and be flexible, as many of our clients and colleagues are located in other time zones
