Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Business Process Architect for Record-to-Report within SAP S/4HANA to shape and optimize global finance processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design scalable, standardized solutions that support strong performance and decision-making.

The role offers exposure to global transformation programs and interaction with senior stakeholders, within a collaborative and inclusive environment at Lonza.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Record-to-Report within a global organization.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to design and improve end-to-end business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Record-to-Report processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver standardized solutions.
• Lead process design activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting outcomes.
• Support system integration across finance and related business functions.
• Contribute to testing, data validation, and implementation activities.
• Support change management and training to enable successful adoption.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field

Extensive experience in Record-to-Report processes within a global organization

Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems

Proven ability to design and improve end-to-end business processes

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience working in cross-functional and international teams

Professional accounting or SAP certification is an advantage
