Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a Business Process Analyst for the FCCB in the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Under general direction, you will analyze business and technical processes to formulate new and modified processing systems and develop requirements and business cases. The role involves collaborating with project management, customers, and end users; creating requirements specifications; leading analysis; and developing reports, processes, and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and six+ years experience as a business process analyst with computerized management systems.
• General understanding of business process/life cycle management principles and industry practices.
• Customer focused with ability to develop solutions to simple and complex problems.
• Strong verbal and written communications and presentations skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide stakeholders.
• Ability to observe confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently or lead in a team; travel and extended hours may be required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, validates and develops business and technical process requirements; leads implementation of requirements.
• Represents business unit with project management, customers and end users.
• Develops and manages business and user requirement specifications; leads analysis and verification for consistency and completeness.
• Develops reports and utilizes analysis models, prototypes and scenarios.
• Develops and implements requirement practices, processes and engineering tools.
• Develops product planning and proposes new features and updates.
• May provide leadership and training to less experienced staff.
• Observe laws, regulations and obligations; safety and procedures compliance.
• Responds to routine information requests and maintains FCCB Sharepoint records.
• Coordinates, tracks and reports progress of assignments and projects; data collection and reporting to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
